How to Make Dino Shrinky Dinks
For older kids, use blank sheets and let kids draw their own pictures and items to shrink, You can print up your own uncolored images on inkjet shrink paper for children to color.
For a no coloring option, use the printable Shrinky dink paper to print up fun images of dinosaurs, dino skeletons, and archeological treasures and simply have kids cut out. Younger kids do best with simple pre-drawn outlines that they can color in.
Once colored, cut around the designs
Follow directions on package, but most are heat oven to 325 degrees, put on tray for 1-3 minutes, watch closely as they curl up, then flatten back out. If it's a smaller party with less children, leave oven light on and let small groups of kids watch through the glass to see the process as its fun to see them shrink! That's the fun part!
