Quick Party Snapshot

Activity type: Listening Game/Group party game

Age: 3-8 yrs.

Light Competition

How to Play

  1. Select one person to be the Train Conductor who gives commands.

  2. Have all the children stand in front so they can clearly hear the instructions.

  3. The Train Conductor gives actions for the children to perform, but children should only follow commands that begin with “Conductor says.”
Example: “Conductor says chug like a train!”

  4. If the leader gives a command without saying “Conductor says” first, anyone who does the action is out for that round.
Example: “Blow your whistle!” (Children should NOT do it.)

  5. Continue giving commands until one player remains, or play just for fun without eliminations.
