Train Scavenger Hunt
Turn your party into a railroad adventure with this Train Scavenger Hunt, where kids search the yard or house for hidden train treasures. As they explore, they’ll discover lost cargo, golden tickets, train whistles, coal pieces, toy trains, and other fun railroad finds left behind at the station.
Activity Description
Kids are given a train ticket, map, or list of railroad treasures to find around the house or yard. For younger kids, place the items near each other so they can move from one “train station” to the next without needing a list. Older kids can use a checklist or map to mark off each piece of lost cargo as they find it. Cute labels at each station help confirm they found the correct railroad treasures.
