Activity Description

How to Play

1. Prepare baskets or bowls with the train treasures, such as whistles, toy trains, coal pieces, golden tickets, bells, and coins.

2. Place the items in different areas of your home or yard and label them like little train stations.

3. Give each child a small pouch, paper bag, or “cargo bag” to carry their treasures.

4. Hand out the Train Scavenger Hunt list, map, or ticket.

5. Kids explore the “railroad route” searching for each hidden treasure.
