Optional Fun:
Let them paint the wooden track pieces to take home their own original track and engine!
Station Setup
Cover the table with kraft paper or a plastic tablecloth. Set out wooden train engines, paint, brushes, and decorating supplies. Make a simple drying area labeled Train Yard Drying Station so each child has a spot to park their finished engine.
Each child chooses a wooden train engine. They paint it with their favorite colors, then add stickers, windows, wheels, numbers, or tiny train details. When they are done, they place it in the drying station until it is ready to take home.
Things You'll Need
The train engines have arrived at the party station, but they still need their colors before they can roll down the tracks. Each little engineer gets to design their own engine, add details, and create a train that is totally their own.
