  3. Add name tags or labels
Kids can write their engine’s name on a small tag, sticker, or paper ticket.

  4. Have a certificate station
Each child fills in their name, their engine’s name, and the adoption date.

  5. Set up a take-home area
Give each child a small bag, box, or “train ticket” envelope to carry home their engine and certificate.

Things You'll Need

The little engines have arrived at Birthday Junction, but they each need a special conductor to take them home. Every child gets to choose one engine, give it a name, and promise to take it on many railroad adventures. Once their certificate is signed, their engine is officially adopted and ready to roll!
