Fairy Ring Dance (musical chairs)

The fairies love to dance in glowing circles under the moonlight. But when the music stops, they must quickly find a spot in the fairy ring before their magic fades! The last fair to find a place must flutter out and wait for the next round.

Step by Step Setup

1. Arrange the thrones- Place the chairs in a circle or back-to-back in the center of the play space.

2. Gather the players- Have the children stand around the chairs

3. Start the music-Play the music while the children walk around the fairy seats.

4. Stop the music- When the music stops, everyone must quickly sit on a fairy seat.

5. Remove a fairy seat- The player left standing is out for that round, and one fairy seat is removed.

6. Continue the game

What You'll Need

• Chairs (one fewer than the number of players)

• Music player or phone

• Optional decorations: Flower garlands, ribbons, or thuled to turn chairs into "fairy seats"

• Optional : Fairy wings or flower crowns for the winner.
