Fairy Coronation Ceremony

Set up:

  1. Set up a small table or space where the ceremony will happen

  2. Place the fairy wings (or flower wreath, charm bracelet, amulet) on a pillow, tray or fabric.

  3. Add your jars of fairy dust, wand, and a few scattered flowers or petals.

Fairies earn their magic through kindness, imagination, and a sprinkle of fairy dust. Today each child is welcomed into the enchanted forest and gifted their wings, wand, charms, or crown. This is the moment their fairy magic begins.

The Ceremony

"Fairies, please come close...the forest is ready to welcome you.

Call each child forward using their fairy name (if you did the naming activity)

Hand them their wings (or whatever fairy item you're giving)

Tap their shoulder lightly with the wand, sprinkle a tiny bit of "fairy dust" in the air or over them.

"Be petals, light, and forest air, we welcome you as a fairy of the Glen"

The best part of this ceremony is how flexible it can be.

You can keep it simple and free by announcing each child's fairy name and adding a sprinkle of glitter, or make it more special by gifting fairy wings. You can also incorporate any crafts the children made during the party, like fairy wands, beaded wand, crowns , or wish amulets, charm bracelets, to make the moment feel even more magical.
