Cast your line into the dig site and reel in a prehistoric surprise

Supplies You'll Need

  • Prize tickets (if using prize tickets for games at the party you can attach those as fishing prizes.

Station Setup

  1. Hang a sheet, tablecloth, or cardboard "excavation site"

  2. Kids use a fishing pole or stick string and clothespin

  3. They toss it over the wall into the "dig site"

  4. A helper clips a prize onto the line and gives a little tug

  5. The paleontologist pulls/reels it back to reveal their magical catch.

Deep in the dinosaur dig zone, paleontologists have discovered a mysterious excavation pit filled with buried prehistoric finds. Instead of digging with shovels, young explorers use their fossil fishing tools to hook secret dinosaur treasures from the site. You never know which ancient discovery will come up next.
