Fairy Treasure Hunt – Sample Clues These example clues show how you can guide children from one location to the next during a Diinosaur Treasure Hunt. Use them as written, or create your own clues based on places around your home or yard.
Follow the dinosaur trail from place to place, each clue brings you closer to the hidden dino treasure.
Sample Clue 1 "Where hungry dinos would stop for a bite, search where snacks and treats stay in sight." Where to hide the next clue: Near the kitchen table or snack table.
Sample Clue 2 "In the land of fossils, cold winds blow, find the chilly place where drinks all go" Where to hide the next clue: In or on the refrigerator.
Sample Clue 3 "Tall as a dino and rooted deep, look where plants and flowers grow and creep" Where to hide the next clue: By flowers, plants, or a garden area.
Sample Clue 4 "When little paleontologists rest from the chase, find the cozy dinosaur sleeping place." Where to hide the next clue: On a bed or couch.
Sample Clue 5 "To wash off dust from foissils and bones, go where splashing water softly moans." Where to hide the next clue: In the bathroom.

Where to hide the final treasure: A small treasure box, bucket, or bin filled with dinosaur goodies like mini dinos, fossil rocks, shark teeth, gold coins etc. Hide it under a table, chair, or small hiding spot or for extra fun...BURY IT, like a hidden archeological treasure.
