Dino Discovery Potion Quest

In this exciting dinosaur adventure, young explorers gather special prehistoric ingredients from around the party area to create a bubbling dino discovery portion. This hands-on activity combines imagination, movement, and sensory fun, making it perfect for dinosaur birthday parties and backyard excavator fun.
Story Setup (Read Aloud)
“The dinosaur world is in trouble...A mighty discovery potion that helps awake lost dinosaur eggs and hidden fossils has been scattered across the land!
Only brave little paleontologists can search for each prehistoric ingredient, mix them together, and bring the dino magic back to life. Gather every special item, make your potion, and help restore the ancient world.
Setup
Set up 5–7 ingredient stations and spread them out around the party area. Have bowls of water, glycerin, flower petals/dried flowers/dried leaves, small beads/ jewels, glitter/confetti, and bubble juice.
Stations may be visited in any order. Each child receives a jar and either: • A checklist attached to the jar, or • A central list of ingredients on display, or for younger kids just have the station lined up but spread apart to they go from one to the next without an official "quest list"
One all items are located, grown up adds a "magic drop" of food coloring to each jar, and close the container. (optional)
Have kids shake them to activate the potion
Decide on ending- a) Kids take home potions as party favor or b) Pour each potion into a shared cauldron, mix the brew and celebrate the potion with a chant.
