How to Set It Up

  1. Create dino stations around the yard or play space.

  2. Gather the junior paleontologists. Have kids travel together as one excavation team (or divide them into two if large group). Tell them they've been chosen to search for missing fossils and uncover the hidden prehistoric treasure.

  3. Complete Each Dino Challenge. At every station, guests must complete the task before unlocking the next magical path.

  4. Collect Dino prizes. After completing tasks at each station, they earn a token, fossil, or a clue that brings them closer to the treasure.

  5. Reveal the Prehistoric reasure. At the end, lead them to a hidden dinosaur treasure, fossil stash or excavation prize table..

• Simple station markers (cones, signs, or paper labels)
• A soft ball
• A bucket or bowl

Dino Tail Spin

Task: Do one cartwheel , spin , or stomp turn

Dino Lore: Young dinosaurs practice quick turns to stay strong and ready on the prehistoric trail.

The Brave Raptor Toss

Task: Toss or hit a soft ball

Dino Lore: Only brave little explorers can pass thte raptor test and continue the expedition.

The Fossil Toss Pit

Task: Toss a coin , rock, or "fossil" into a bucket.

Dino Lore: Every good paleontologist must place discovered fossils carefullly into the dig basket.

The Steppig Stone Swamp

Task: Hop through hopscotch squares or stepping stones

Dino Lore: Explorers must cross the swamp without sinking into the muddy prehistoric ground.

Dino Dash Run

Task: Run with ribbons or scarves or just dash to the next station

Dino Lore: Baby dinosaurs had to move gast to keep up with the herd.

The Lava Rock Balance Bridge

Task: Walk a line or plank without stepping off.

Dino Lore: To reach the hidden fossil cave, explorers must cross the narrow lava rock path.

Fossil Field Jumps

Task: Jump from spot to spot

Dino Lore: Gentle but careful jumps help explorers move across fragile fossil ground

Volcano Freeze Bell

Task: Ring a bell three times and freeze like a statue

Dino Lore: When the volcano rumbles, everyone must freeze perfectly still so the dinosaurs won't notice them.

Pterodactyl STretch Circle:

Task: Reach high, bend low, and spin once.

Dino Lore: Explorers stretch like pterodactyl wings before heading deeper into dinosaur territory.

DinoTreasure Ending

After completing the quest, gather your explorers at the dig sit, fossil table, or dino treasure spot to reveal their prehistoric treasure.
