Dino Stomp Circle (musical chairs)

A high energy dinosaur stomp game where kids race to find a spot before the T-Rex roar stops.

Step by Step Setup

1. Arrange the Dino Circle- Place the chairs in a circle or back-to-back in the center of the play space.

2. Gather the players- Have the children stand around the chairs

3. Start the music-Play the music while the kids walk, stomp, or dino march around the circle.

4. T-Rex Roar! Stop the music suddenly-everyone must find a seat fast!

5. One dino out- The player left standing is out for that round, and one chair is removed.

6. Continue until one dinosaur remains the winner!

What You'll Need

• Chairs (one fewer than the number of players)

• Music player or phone

• Optional : Dino music or jungle sound

• Optional Decorations: Dino cutouts, leaves, fossils taped to chairs

The dinosaurs are gathering for a prehistoric stomp party! They march, stomp, and roar around the circle- but when the mighty T-Rex roar suddenly stops, every dino must quickly find a safe spot before becoming extinct for the round.
