Dino Treasure Fishing

Cast your line into the train depot and reel in a train surprise

Supplies You'll Need

• Fishing Pole with clothespin attached or a stick,

  Small treasures such as

• Pyrite

• Polished stones

• Gold coins

• 2lb bag of fossils

• Dino punch baloons

• Sticky hand

• Small bags/burlap poutch

• Prize tickets (if using prize tickets for games at the party you can attach those as fishing prizes.

Station Setup

1. Create the dino wall by hanging a sheet, tablecloth, or piece of cardboard across a table, fence, or two chairs.

2. Place the prizes behind the wall where a helper can sit or crouch out of sight.

3. Give each child a fishing pole made from a stick, dowel, or toy fishing pole with string and a clothespin attached.

4. Have kids cast their line over the wall into the hidden “dino pit”

5. A helper clips a dino treasure onto the line and gives it a little tug.

6. The child reels it back in to discover which dino treasure they get

7. Let children keep their discovery in a small drawstring bag as a party favor.
