DINO OBSTACLE COURSE STATION IDEAS

Dino Trail Balance
Walk heel-to-toe along a “dino trail” made from tape, ribbon, or a chalk line.

Lava Rock Stepping Stones
Step across “lava rocks” using paper plates, mats, or poly spots without touching the ground.

Dinosaur Cave Crawl
Crawl through a “prehistoric cave” made from a play tunnel, table with blankets, chairs, or cushions.

Meteor Toss
Toss soft “meteor rocks” like beanbags or socks into a basket. Challenge: land 3 meteors in the basket before moving on.

Roar & Stomp Station
Let out your loudest dinosaur roar and do 5 big stomps before continuing to the next station.

Dino Egg Carry Challenge
Carry a “dinosaur egg” on a spoon without dropping it.

Jurassic Jump Squares
Use tape or chalk to create squares to hop through — two feet, one foot, or 2 big dino jumps.

Jungle Vine Weave
Zig-zag through “jungle vines” made from pool noodles, scarves, ropes, or cones without touching them.

Tiptoe Over the Moonbeam
Walk slowly across a towel or taped line using tiptoes only.

Tiptoe Past the Sleeping Dino
Walk carefully across a line using tiptoes only — don’t wake the dinosaur!

Lost Fossil Dash
Collect 3 pieces of lost fossils, rocks, toy bones, or dino toys and return them to the nest.

Dino Nest Cleanup
Gather “leaves” made from paper towels, tissue paper, or fabric scraps and toss them into a basket.
