Dino Slime Bar
A fun dinosaur slime bar where kids can mix, stretch, and decorate their own prehistoric slime with colors, glitter, beads, and mini dino add-ins. This easy dinosaur party craft is a hands-on activity and take-home favor in one, perfect for dino birthday parties and sensory play.
Best For: Age 5+
Time: 15-20 minutes
Mess Level: Medium
Easy Prep Tip
If you're making slime from scratch, prepare it 1-2 days before the party so the texture settles properly. Store it in an airtight container until the party. You can also color it at this time, if you don't want kids using food coloring.
Set up a slime-making table where kids can create their own magical slime creations.
Place bowls of mix-ins like foam beads, flitter, confetti sprinkles, pastel charms , and mini pearls in the center of the table. Optional scents or food coloring but adult supervision with food coloring is recommended.
Give each guest a small container of slime and allow them to add their favorite mix-ins. Provide spoons or scoops for easy mixing.
Once finished kids can seal their slime containers and take home their dino creation as a party keepsake.
Another Slime Hack: Another option, that gives you a starting point of great colors, is to buy the package of these little slimes or this slime and open them up and put in your own larger air proof containers. Or take the slimes and put them into individual slime containers portioned out perfectly. (This can be done days ahead of the party, and little archaeologists usually like to help)
*Tight on time: Buy this all-in-one kit slime kit.
