Supplies You'll Need

*Older kids can use the tools to chip

away, but if you want the fun, but

with less tedious chipping away, you

can use a bucket of water to help

soften and make it easier to get to

the dino.

How to Set Up

  1. Set up an area for kids to excavate. The ground works well for this to allow leverage while working.

  2. A tarp, or rolls of paper help with easy cleanup.

  3. Have bowls or buckets of water to help speed the excavation process or for younger kids.

  4. Chip away, dust and excavate until dino is found.
